How do I use the service
The Madigan librarians are using AIM, AOL's instant messaging service. Our AIM screen name is PCTLibRef. You must have an AIM account or an account with an instant-messaging client to contact the library via IM. AIM accounts are free. If you do not have one, you can register for a screen name at AOL Instant Messenger Web site.
You may contact us using these methods:
- If you have AIM installed on your computer, you can add PCTLibRef to your buddy list, then double click on us to send us an instant message.
- If you do not have AIM installed on your computer, you can use AIM Express. This service allows you to use AOL's instant messenger in a web browser without downloading the IM software.
- If you are using an AIM-compatible instant message client like Trillian or GAIM, add PCTLibRef to your buddies list.
