George Mavrothalassitis

"Chef Mavro" comes to us from one of Hawaii's finest restaurants, located in one of the island's most luxurious hotels. A native Frenchmen of Greek descent, "Chef Mavro" is passionate about his adopted homeland. His exquisite menus are an innovative harmony of classical French cuisine with fresh ingredients of the islands, including native seafood, game, herbs and seaweed.

Gourmet magazine cities, "Honolulu has never had a chef like Halekulani's George Mavrothalassitis, a charming and immensely gifted Marseillais whom everyone calls "Chef Mavro".
