2002 Pennsylvania Governor’s Institute for Mathematics Educators

The theme of the 2002 Governor’s Institute for Mathematics Educators was “Open-Ended Problem-Solving.”  Each group of participants created an instructional unit that integrated one or more of the Pennsylvania Math Standards as well as addressing open-ended problem-solving.

The units developed at the Institute are available at the links above and can be either viewed or downloaded as a Word document for free. You are encouraged to modify the lessons to make them work for your classroom and your students.
