Key Component 4: Reporting Data
The Central Region Tech Prep Consortium will support and Assist All Consortium Schools in the Identification and Reporting of Tech Prep Students within PDE approved Career and Technical Education "Programs of Study" by
- Establishing and maintaining contacts with all regional schools that hold PDE approved CTE programs.
- Identifying Tech Prep/POS students.
- Assisting in the submission of required data elements to the Pennsylvania Department of Education's Pennsylvania Information Management System (PIMS) and the Career and Technical Education Information System (CATS).
- Establishing a student tracking method from secondary to postsecondary.
- Attending data collection workshops as provided by the PDE and the BCTE.
