Aviation Education Day

Aviation Education Day created by the Penn College School of Transportation Technology, integrates high school mathematics and science with real world aviation concepts. Students will see high school concepts come alive through concepts in the aviation technical field. The experience will be fun as well as educational for all 11th and 12th grade participants.

Three learning modules form the core of the Aviation Education Day learning experience:

  1. Weight and balance
  2. Precision measurements
  3. Aircraft electricity

Students should be assigned homework or classroom activities to meet prerequisite knowledge standards needed in each of the modules.

Each student attending Aviation Education Day will require a calculator with basic functions.
