Penn College Wireless Network
Student and Employee Personal Wireless Devices
Secure wireless access at Penn College is provided through access points across campus and in on-campus housing complexes. Use is subject to the College's IT Resources Acceptable Use Policy.
Your laptop, PDA, or other wireless device must be properly configured to access the secure network. Only authorized users are permitted to use the wireless network, which means you will be required to enter your network username and password.
Once connected, you can access the Internet and all Web-accessible College resources such as student e-mail, network drives, and remote printing.
Instructions for configuring wireless laptops to use the "Wildcats" network are provided below for the most common operating systems.

"Wildcatgame" is a network specifically created for game consoles that require wireless connections; however, the console's MAC address must first be registered with ITS. [Instructions for locating & registering MAC addresses of common game consoles (PDF)]

Guests
Guests of Penn College can request a temporary wireless access acount for use while on campus. Simply visit any of the following locations and ask for a temporary username and password for the "Guest" wireless network: [View poster with map of locations]

- Madigan Library, circulation desk
- Klump Academic Center, ITS Help Desk in room 12
In the case of groups visiting campus for an event or conference, particpants can ask the event coordinator for the temporary username and password created specifically for their use.
