Core FTP Lite Instructions
Through a special licensing agreement, Penn College students and employees can download and install Core FTP Lite on their personal computers and laptops.
Install the Software
- Click the following link to download Core FTP Lite to your desktop.
- When prompted, enter your network User name and password. Precede your User name with "PCT\" as shown below:
- Double click on the downloaded file, coreftplite1.3.exe to start the installer. (Note that the file name may change slightly with newer versions of the software.)
- Accept all defaults by clicking "Next" on each installation screen.
After installing the software, use the directions provided below to establish the settings needed to connect to the Penn College network and to learn how to navigate through your network drives using the FTP software.
