Instructional Media
The Digital Media department employs several different forms of Instructional Media to ensure that Penn College's students can take advantage of the most effective learning tools available. Click on a link below to learn more about these media and how they can be used to enhance your digital classroom.
Classroom recordings
Inviting a guest lecturer to class? Why not have us videotape the lecture so that students in subsequent classes can share the experience? We have a wide array of video and audio recording equipment at our disposal, and we can deliver the finished product in several digital delivery formats. [View classroom recording sample]
Rich media on the Web
We're happy to help you enhance your course page or ANGEL site with animation, video, or audio. [View digital media samples]
Graphic Enhancement/Consultation
If you're looking to bring a unique look or feel to your materials, look no further. Whether you're looking for software instruction to get you up to speed on the latest image manipulation tools, or you just want some photos to spice up a PowerPoint presentation, the Digital Media team can help.
Delivery Strategies
Not sure which is the most effective way to get instructional media to your students? Our instructional designers and developers can work with you to develop the optimal delivery plan.
Supplemental Materials
Sometimes the best instruction takes place outside the classroom. We can help you provide your students with the one-on-one exposure and repeated viewing of complicated procedures and labs that they may not be able to absorb in one class session.
On-screen Software Recording
Our digital media toolbox also includes suites for recording software with voiceover narration. This is a great way to reinforce good practices for faculty members teaching highly technical software packages.
