Study Abroad in Italy

Visit Rome, Assisi, Florence, Parma, and Venice on this early childhood education and family studies tour to Italy.

The tour takes you to various childcare and early school settings while you experience the art, culture, and historical settings of Italy. Home to the Montessori method and the Reggio-Emilia approach, Italy is an ideal place to study strong family and community involvement in education.

Several highlights include:  the Colosseum, Forum, and museums in Rome; the Vatican; the Duomo and Accademia museums in Florence; and St. Mark’s Square, a river taxi, and Doge’s Palace in Venice.

Included in price:  All breakfasts and 8 other meals, three sightseeing tours, all ground transportation, accommodations, and airfare.

Prerequisites include: a GPA of 2.5, and EDU 100, EDU 101, HSR 115 or permission of the instructor. It satisfies an EDU, HSR, or an open elective.
