How much does it cost to get a Pennsylvania College of Technology license plate?
The total cost is $74. A $24 processing fee is paid to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The remaining $50 is used to benefit Alumni Relations and is tax deductible. Please note: you write out only one check, for $74, made payable to Pennsylvania College of Technology. Alumni Relations will forward the remaining balance, along with the approved application, to the Commonwealth.
How long does it take for my new plate to arrive?
Specialty license plates take about 6- 8 weeks after your completed application is submitted to PennDot.
How do I order a new specialty plate?

Does ordering a new license plate impact my current registration?
No. The plate fee is payable one time only. When your new plate arrives, it will include a new sticker and registration card. Your registration due date and dollar amount on your yearly registration remain the same.
I do not live in Pennsylvania. Can I still order a Pennsylvania College of Technology license plate?
No. At this time, this opportunity only exists for alumni living in Pennsylvania who have their car registered in Pennsylvania.
I am moving to Pennsylvania, can I apply for a plate?
You must first register your car in Pennsylvania before submitting your application.
I would like to buy a Pennsylvania College of Technology license plate as a graduation gift for my child who is a current Penn College student. How can I do this?
The person whose name is on the application must be listed on the registration of the car.
Can I personalize my Penn College license plate?
No. PennDot issues the plates in sequential order.
