Employee Campaign
Every contribution, of any size, is very important. Every gift helps students succeed!
On behalf of the students, thank you for your support.
Preparing for success after college can be like navigating A MAZE for students, but it’s AMAZE-ing to see the efforts you and other Pennsylvania College of Technology employees make every day to help our students succeed. Generous support of the Penn College Annual Fund Employee Campaign has helped to clear financial roadblocks that many of our students encounter along the way to their goal.
The Annual Fund Office is holding a drawing for various prizes again this year to help promote the Employee Campaign:
- Grand Prize - Stained Glass Picture (yellow tulip) created and donated by Penn College faculty member Keith Whitesel
- First Prize - 2008/’09 Membership to the Penn College Fitness Center donated by Penn College Athletics
- 2nd Prize - Two tickets for the Alumni Relations Office Finger Lakes Wine Region Bus Trip in September, donated by the Penn College Alumni Relations Office
- 3rd Prize - Floral Morning” signed, numbered and matted (unframed) print by artist David Sebold, donated by the Penn College Foundation
- 4th and 5th Prizes - $25 gift card to Le Jeune Chef Restaurant donated by the Penn College School of Hospitality
- 6th Prize - Pizza Party (2 sheet pizzas and beverages) for your office area, donated by Penn College Food Services
- 7th and 8th Prizes - “You’re The Chef” Apron, autographed by TV show hosts Tom Speicher and Chef Paul Mach, donated by the Penn College School of Hospitality
- 9th and 10th Prizes - Penn College pen sets created and donated by faculty and students in Penn College’s Automated Manufacturing Lab
Anyone who makes a gift will be automatically entered into the drawing, and if you choose to not make a gift, you may still enter the drawing by calling the Annual Fund office. The drawing will be held, and prizewinners will be announced, in early August.
Your gift to the Annual Fund Employee Campaign helps current and future Penn College students by generating scholarship awards and supporting equipment upgrades and improvements to facilities.
Making a gift to the Annual Fund also gives you a great opportunity to honor or memorialize someone special to you. You may want to consider directing your gift to one of these many funds that were established in honor of, or in memory of, employees, retirees, students, and alumni of Penn College, Williamsport Area Community College, and Williamsport Technical Institute; a list of those funds is available here.
If you’d prefer, you may direct your Annual Fund gift to be used for another scholarship fund, for support of an academic school or major or instructional support area, or to be used where the College sees the greatest need in meeting goals for providing scholarships, advancing technology, and enhancing program quality. If you have other ideas on ways to use your gift, send an e-mail to the Annual Fund Office or call ext. 7658.
