Distinguished Alumni Award – Presented at May commencement
The Distinguished Alumni Award will be presented to an alumnus/alumna who:
- Has made significant contributions in his or her chosen field
- Has demonstrated the importance of his or her education at Penn College
- Has participated in leadership roles within the community and has demonstrated a commitment to the College and community relations
- Must be a graduate of Williamsport Technical Institute, Williamsport Area Community College or Pennsylvania College of Technology
Alumni Achievement Award – Presented at May commencement
The Alumni Achievement Award will be presented to an alumnus/alumna who:
- Is a graduate of the last 10 years
- Has demonstrated achievement in at least one area including noteworthy professional or career accomplishments or dedicated volunteer service to the College or their community
- Has demonstrated the importance of his or her Penn College education
- Continually supports the mission of the College
Alumni Humanitarian/Citizenship Award – Presented at December commencement
The Alumni Humanitarian/Citizenship Award will be presented to an alumnus/alumna who:
- provides distinguished community or volunteer service
- Has presented him/herself as a dedicated and loyal alumnus
- Is a graduate of Williamsport Technical Institute, Williamsport Area Community College or Pennsylvania College of Technology
Outstanding Varsity Athletic Alumni Award – Presented Homecoming weekend
The Outstanding Varsity Athletic Alumni Award will be presented to an alumnus/alumna who:
- Was a varsity athlete for 2 or more years
- Has demonstrated the importance of his or her education at Penn College
- Has participated in leadership roles and demonstrated a commitment to the community in which he or she resides
- Is a graduate of Williamsport Area Community College or Pennsylvania College of Technology
Mentorship Award
The Mentorship Award will be presented to an alumnus/alumna or business who:.
- Has made a significant or on-going contribution to the education or development of our students by providing mentorship opportunities or professional guidance
