Information on Applying for Position Openings

You may apply for any of the positions included on the list of Penn College Position Openings. Before submitting the application material, be sure to open the PDF under "Job Description" to access the position announcement and review the application requirements and deadlines.

A College Application for Employment must be submitted for all position openings. Additionally, many supervisors require submission of a cover letter and resume. The position announcement will clearly state the application requirements under "Deadline for Applications." Be sure to list the position title on the application (and cover letter, if required).

You may use a printable application (PDF) (also, a link to the Application for Employment form will be included in the Job Description under "Deadline for Application"); You will NOT be able to complete and submit the form online. You will need to print and complete the form and submit it as described in option 1 or 2 listed below.

If you are applying for the Food Services Pool, you will need to complete a Penn College Application for Employment form and an Addendum to Application (PDF). (A link to the Application for Employment form and the Addendum to Application will be included in the Food Services Pool position announcement under “Deadline for Application.”) You will NOT be able to complete and submit the forms online. You will need to print and complete the forms and submit them as described in option 1 or 2 listed below.

If the position announcement states that a cover letter and resume are required along with the application form, you will need to submit these as described in option 1, 2 or 3 listed below.

  1. Send application/resume material by U.S. mail to: Human Resources Office, DIF 53, Pennsylvania College of Technology, One College Avenue, Williamsport, PA 17701. If a deadline is listed on the position announcement, the material must be received by the HR Office on or before the deadline.
  2. Fax application/resume material to: (570) 321-5550. If the HR Office is unable to read your faxed material, we will notify you to refax or send by U. S. mail.
  3. E-mail your cover letter and resume to: jobapplication@pct.edu. We can accept your resume material in Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF. If the HR Office is unable to print your resume material that is attached, an HR representative will notify you that you need to either fax or mail the material. You will not be able to email a Penn College Application for Employment form. You will need to either fax or mail the form.

NOTE: The College accepts applications only for positions which are currently open, with the exception of applications for Part-time and/or Substitute Instructors which will be accepted at any time.
