Green careers are on the rise.
What makes a career “green”?
It is the application of skills to conserve natural resources and develop natural products.
Green jobs will be realized in traditional, evolving, and emerging occupations.
Wise use of resources will be a key goal across many industries.
Pennsylvania’s green jobs are located, primarily in five industry sectors:*
- Energy Efficiency
- Renewable Energy
- Clean Transportation
- Pollution Prevention & Environmental Cleanup
- Agriculture & Resource Conservation
