Kristi joined the Penn College staff as Fitness Center Supervisor in 2000. She is responsible for managing the Fitness Center staff; ensuring safe and effective use of the equipment, and providing interesting and educational programming for Fitness Center patrons.
In 2007, Kristi's duties were expanded as she assumed the role of Health & Fitness Specialist. She is now additionally responsible for assisting the Director of Health Services in the development of wellness activities for the college community. Specifically, she is responsible for programs regarding general health awareness and providing information on nutrition, physical conditioning, weight loss, contraception, drug and alcohol, mental health, and other related topics.
Kristi completed her undergraduate degree at Clarion University of Pennsylvania where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications. She then earned a Master of Health Administration degree from The Pennsylvania State University. Additionally, Kristi is an A.F.A.A. certified Personal Fitness Trainer and an American Red Cross Instructor. She teaches as adjunct faculty in the College's Fitness and Lifetime Sports Department.
