Civil Engineering Technology
Do you know what steps need to be taken before a road or bridge can be constructed? Participate in hands-on activities vital to civil engineering technology. Activities will include observing and measuring the flow of water under different conditions, observing forces created by fluids, and preparing concrete samples to determine their strength.

Drafting and CAD Technology
Would like to know how your cell phone or mp3 player was designed? This hands-on workshop will introduce you to the skills needed to design and create these kinds of products. Participants will use CAD software to draw and evaluate various designs, apply CAD tools to make the screen image look more realistic, and discuss what technical drawings would be needed to manufacture their product.

Participate in a variety of hands-on activities related to the Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology program. Activities include construction of a fiber optic light, operation of a fiber optic fusion splicer, nanotechnology demonstrations, networking, and robotics.
