Adaptive Equipment
Disability Services offers a limited amount of adaptive equipment that can be borrowed each semester. Loans are made on a "first-come, first-served" basis. One-on-one training is available for most of the our adaptive equipment.

- 2-track tape recorders
- Digital Talking Book Players
- 4-function calculators
- Spell checkers
- Ergonomic keyboards
- Assistive Technology Laptops
- Roller ball mouse
- Special chairs
Procedures for borrowing adaptive equipment
- Contact Disability Services at the beginning of each semester to determine if documentation supports the use of adaptive equipment.
- Request to borrow the needed adaptive equipment.
(Students must supply their own batteries or cassette tapes.)
- Fill out a Disability Services Equipment form (local address and local phone number are required).
- Return the equipment in good condition (e.g., operates as intended, manuals and cables included) at the end of each semester or risk having a "hold" placed on grades or transcripts.
