The career-exploration documentary series degrees that work.tv is produced by Pennsylvania College of Technology in conjunction with WVIA Public Media. The award-winning series airs on public television. Complete episodes also can be accessed online through this website and YouTube .
Excerpts of individual episodes are available via Teachers' Domain. Teachers' Domain is an online library of more than 1,000 free media resources from the best in public television, such as NOVA, Frontline, Design Squad, and American Experience.
Each 28-minute episode of degrees that work.tv connects its audience to workforce needs and viable career paths for the future.
Episodes have focused on:

Following a story-driven approach, each episode highlights the technologies, educational foundation and opportunities within career clusters. The U.S. Department of Education has developed 16 clusters, groupings representing occupations and broad industries. The clusters provide career awareness direction for students and serve as an organizing academic tool for schools and teachers.
Teachers (grades 7-12) are encouraged to use degrees that work.tv episodes and related free lesson planning guides to help students explore their possible future in one or more of the career clusters.
