Directions
From the North: In good weather, you can take US-14 or US-15 south from middle New York State (Syracuse to Buffalo areas). US-14 will feed into US-15 about ten miles north of Williamsport. US-15 feeds into the beltway around Williamsport (US-220/I-180). Take the Lewisburg exit; follow the ramp all the way down and do not go right. This will put you in front of a stop light with Wegmans supermarket straight ahead and to the right. Go through this stoplight. At the next (West Third Street), you can turn right for parking in either of Williamsport's two parking decks. There are also a variety of parking lots and adequate on-street parking you may access. The Arts Center is between William Street and Hepburn, only a block or two away.
In bad weather and from eastern upstate New York, take I-81 south through the Scranton/ Wilkes-Barre area until it connects with I-80, then follow the directions for "From the East."
From the East: Take I-80 west to the I-180 exit (Williamsport); follow I-180 until you reach the Basin Street exit in Williamsport. At the bottom of the exit ramp, continue straight through the intersection and subsequent lights until you reach William Street. Take a right onto William; you can access parking at either of the two parking decks on Third Street, or use a variety of off- or on-street parking locations in the Third and Fourth Street vicinities. The Arts Center is between Williams Street and Hepburn, only a block or two away.
From the South: From the Harrisburg area, take US-15 north all the way into Williamsport. You will cross the Market Street Bridge into town. Continue straight; do NOT take the US-15 North exit. You will cross the light at Third Street and proceed to the intersection at Fourth Street. At the Fourth Street light, turn left; the Arts Center is about five blocks down. Follow the signs for parking in downtown Williamsport.
NOTE: If you are driving a tractor-trailer, you may find it easier to continue through the Fourth Street light, and turn left at Little League Boulevard, then left again at Hepburn Street. This may help you to better angle in to our loading dock. Please consult with our Operations Manager. Also, please be aware that there is a MAJOR new bridge project under way connecting South Williamsport and Williamsport on US-15 which may result in altered traffic patterns or other impediments; however, the route is still very much open to tractor-trailer traffic.
From the Philadelphia area, take the Pennsylvania Turnpike Northeast Extension (Route 9) north to I-80, then follow the directions for "From the East."
From the West: Take I-80 to its connection with US-220. Follow US-220 all the way in to Williamsport. US-220 will become I-180, the beltway around Williamsport. Take the Basin Street exit; follow the ramp all the way down and do not go right. This will put you in front of a stop light with Wegmans supermarket straight ahead and to the right.
