Sexually Transmitted Disease Testing

College Health Services offer free and confidential STD testing to current Penn College students with a valid ID card.

Who Should Get Tested?

It doesn’t matter who you are – your age, sexual preference or number of partners – STD testing may help you deal instantly with a disease that could have severe long-term effects on your health.

If you ever had unprotected sex, oral sex, or even intimate sexual contact in the past, there is a risk that you may have a sexually transmitted disease.

With the cautious atmosphere fostered by AIDS now faded, and modern sexual habits including more partners, higher levels of concurrent relationships, and people starting to have sex at a younger age, STD infections have sky-rocketed.

STD Testing Schedule

Testing will take place in the College Health Services office Monday thru Friday from 1:30-7:30 p.m. There is a $10 fee for this service, and appointments are required. Schedule your appointment today by clicking the myHEALTH ONLINE icon on the myPCT portal home page.

STD Results

Students will be contacted for POSITIVE STD results only. Results will be available approximately 2-3 days after the testing date.

AIDS Resource Alliance offers free confidential or anonymous testing for HIV. The resource center uses the Orasure Oral Swab system so there are no needles and no need to draw blood making this important test painless!

Testing is available at the AIDS Resource Alliance Office, 500 W. Third St., Williamsport, Monday -Friday, 9 a.m. -5 p.m.  Testing is available at other times (and locations) by appointment.

HIV Results
