Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Testing
College Health Services offers low-cost and confidential STI testing to current Penn College students and employees.
Who Should Get Tested?
It doesn’t matter who you are – your age, sexual preference or number of partners – STI testing may help you deal instantly with a disease that could have severe long-term effects on your health.
If you ever had unprotected sex, oral sex, or even intimate sexual contact in the past, there is a risk that you may have a sexually transmitted infection.
With the cautious atmosphere fostered by AIDS now faded, and modern sexual habits including more partners, higher levels of concurrent relationships, and people starting to have sex at a younger age, sexually transmitted infections have sky-rocketed.
STI Testing Schedule
STI Testing is available in College Health Services daily Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. for a $15 fee.
Students will be contacted for POSITIVE STI results only. Results will be available approximately 2-3 days after the testing date.
Knowing your HIV status is an important part of being sexually responsible. Anyone (regardless of age, gender, race & sexual orientation) who has ever had unprotected sex, or used/shared needles for injecting drugs has put themselves at risk for HIV & all Sexually Transmitted Infections.
