Beginning Spanish II

Broadens and enhances oral and written Spanish language skills. Students develop their knowledge and ability to use the Spanish language by studying topical units. Extensive vocabulary and essential conversation patterns are presented and practiced in the areas of sports, food and dining, clothing and shopping, travel and leisure, parts of the body, and medical expressions. The two basic present tenses are reviewed and the two most commonly used past tenses are studied. It is recommended that a student taking SPA 121 has had two or more recent years of Spanish instruction or SPA 111. 3 Credits (3 Lecture - 0 Lab) Prerequisite(s): SPA111.
