Neurosonography
Neonatal intracranial anatomy can be imaged utilizing sonographic technology. Diagnostic assessment can be made for intracranial tumors. hemorrhage, hydrocephalus and congenital anomalies. Emphasis is placed on topographical and intracranial anatomy, sonographic appearance of normal structures, scan planes and techniques, and pathological processes. A working knowledge of anatomy is assumed. Classroom and laboratory experiences will be provided. Course admission is by permission of Director of Radiography. 1.10 Credits (1 Lecture - .30 Lab) Prerequisite(s): SON302.
