Introduction to Sonography

Fundamentals of the role sonography plays in rendering a medical diagnosis. Focus is on the techniques and methods of acquiring sonographic images as well as an introduction to recognizing normal anatomical structures in various imaging planes. Classroom and laboratory experiences are provided. Course admission is by permission of Director of Radiography. 1.10 Credits (1 Lecture - .30 Lab)
