Industrial Blow Molding
This course provides a detailed study of the plastics blow molding process. Different blow molding methods such as extrusion, stretch blow, injection, and co-extrusion will be detailed. Additional hands-on study will include process and parison control, mold design, automation controls, and auxiliary equipment. The majority of laboratory time will be used to make quality plastic parts with an extrusion blow molder. 4 Credits (3 Lecture - 3 Lab) Prerequisite(s): PPT120. Corequisite(s): PPT248.
