Research and Theory in Clinical Practice
NUR495
End-of-program course focusing on completion of a scholarly project that offers students the opportunity to synthesize knowledge for evidence-based nursing practice. Concepts related to nursing research are utilized to facilitate analysis and integration of educational and professional knowledge and experiences. Recognition of the interrelationship of practice, theory and research is emphasized. The process of accessing and critiquing scholarly literature is emphasized to enable the student to become an informed consumer of nursing research. 4 Credits (4 Lecture - 0 Lab) Prerequisite(s): MTH160 and NUR412 or MTH160 and NUR327.
