Metrology/Quality Control
Concepts and practices of precision measurement needed in the modern machine shop. Topics include direct and indirect measurements, contact and non-contact gaging, angular measurement, and hardness testing. The fundamentals of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and blueprint reading as related to inspection will also be emphasized. (Formerly MTT126) 4 Credits (1 Lecture - 9 Lab)
