Manufacturing Processes and Toolmaking Survey
Theory and demonstrations involving manufacturing processes, machining (lathe, milling, drilling, boring, and grinding), and heat treating. Computer-controlled manufacturing equipment will be covered through theory and demonstrations involving CNC (turning); CAD/CAM and CNC/NC programming; electric discharge machining; metrology (CMM); and an introduction to robotics. 4 Credits (2 Lecture - 6 Lab)
