Analysis of business concepts. Topics include linear and quadratic functions, systems of linear equations and inequalities, proportions, graphing, metric system, cash and trade discounts, markup, markdown, payroll, interest, descriptive statistics, interpretation of data from graphs and tables, depreciation, breakeven analysis, and valuation of inventory. Multiple approaches, including technology, are used to emphasize conceptual understanding of business applications. 3 Credits (3 Lecture - 0 Lab) Prerequisite(s): MTH005 or Placement by Examination.
