Small Business Management
Students enrolled in this course are provided an overview of small business operations with emphasis on current issues and trends. The dynamic role of small business in the United States economy is examined along with a definitive explanation of small business. Opportunities for the would-be entrepreneur are explored by developing the ability to assess the business potential for various types of business operations. Legal forms of ownership, financing procedures, marketing techniques, location selection, human resource management, purchasing, budgeting, taxation, risk management, and planning are all carefully examined in this course.
