Counseling Theories and Techniques
Introduction to a variety of theoretical models of counseling and the techniques that each theory generates. Emphasis on the refinement of basic helping skills and use of those skills in various counseling approaches and interventions with application to specific individuals. Experiential as well as traditional learning is expected of enrolled students. 3 Credits (3 Lecture - 0 Lab) Prerequisite(s): HSR120 and HSR210 and HSR221.
