Direct Current Fundamentals
This course covers the basic principles of electricity and the laws and formulas which are used to solve electrical problems. Students will master the principles of magnetism and their relationship to direct current generators and motors and other electrical machinery. Laboratory work trains students to connect equipment and instruments. 5 Credits (4 Lecture - 3 Lab)
Prerequisite(s): MTH005 or Placement by Examination. Fall Only.
