Professional Seminar in Nanofabrication Processing

Overview of the semiconductor processing industry, including global distribution, size, work environment, and typical employment possibilities. Current topics of interest are covered by means of invited speakers, video teleconferences, field trips, Internet exchanges, and other multi-media methods. Students receive up-to-date information on the profession as well as prepare to search for jobs. Each student develops a professional logbook. Student participation in a local chapter of a professional society is encouraged and an appreciation of the need for continuing professional development after graduation is fostered. This requirement may be satisfied by a cooperative education experience. 1 Credit (1 Lecture - 0 Lab) Prerequisite(s): EET114 and EET156 and ENL111.
