Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the hardware for local area networks, with an emphasis on the hands-on, practical experiences needed to service enterprise computing systems used in industry. Network topologies, protocols, cabling systems, and system fault tolerance and diagnosis are covered at a level needed for the technician to become competent in network operation and maintenance. 3 Credits (3 Lecture - 0 Lab) Prerequisite(s): EET154 and EET155 or CIT170 or CIT171 or MIS110. Corequisite(s): EET205.
