Heavy Equipment Power Trains/Chassis
Introduction to the operation theory of heavy equipment drive trains; including standard transmissions, clutches, drive-shafts, differential carriers, axles, final drives, tracks, undercarriages, and clutch-type steering systems. Principles of torque multiplication and bearing adjustment are included. 3 Credits (3 Lecture - 0 Lab) Corequisite(s): DSM141 and DSM142.
