Fundamentals of Cryptography
An overview of the various cryptographic techniques that have been employed to secure data over time. Investigation of various encryption algorithms, from simple ciphers to modern public key encryption systems. Discussion includes various implementations, strengths, weaknesses, and appropriate applications of different cryptosystems as well as an introduction to state-of-the-art cryptography. 3 Credits (3 Lecture - 0 Lab) Prerequisite(s): CIT230 and CIT240 and MTH240.
