Fundamental concepts in organic chemistry. Topics include structure and reactions of alkanes, alkenes, alkynes, alcohols, ethers, aldehydes, ketones, and alkyl halides; nomenclature of organic compounds; stereochemistry; and reaction mechanisms. Because of duplication of material, students may not receive credit for both CHM202 and CHM203. 3 Credits (3 Lecture - 0 Lab) Prerequisite(s): CHM111 or CHM121 or CHM123.
