Introduction to the use of modern computer tools such as spreadsheet applications and programming to solve Civil Engineering problems. Problems from transportation, structures and surveying are used as examples. Specific problems are solved with spreadsheet programs alone and then solved with spreadsheet programs augmented by Visual Basic (VBA). 1 Credit (0 Lecture - 3 Lab) Corequisite(s): CET113 and CSC124 and MTH180 or CET113 and CSC124 and MTH240.
