3D CAD and Parametric Modeling-Surfaces

Provides an understanding of surface modeling using parametric modeling software. Surface modeling techniques expands the range of models that can be accomplished in 3D CAD applications. Included in the course are: the development and modification of complex surfaces used to generate solid models, development of multiview and assembly drawings, analyzing solids, shading and rendering, and the development of physical models with rapid prototyping equipment. 3 Credits (2 Lecture - 3 Lab) Prerequisite(s): CAD119.
