Automotive Service Management
Principles and procedures involved in managing an automotive service facility. Topics include customer relations, repair orders, warranty claims, record maintenance, technical service training, personnel management, shop layout, parts management, equipment needs, and computer-based shop management systems. Course objectives may be met by off-campus independent study in consultation with a working service manager and under the guidance of an assigned automotive faculty member. 3 Credits (3 Lecture - 0 Lab) Prerequisite(s): ENL201 or ENL121.
