Introduction to standard practices of joining pipe using the open root and chill rings. The E-6010 and E-7018 electrodes are used. Fixed horizontal, fixed vertical, and fixed 45-degree welding positions are covered. Welding processes may be combined. 2 Credits (0 Lecture - 6 Lab) Corequisite(s): WEL230 and WEL233 and WEL234.
