Flux Cored and Sub-Arc II
The course continues the hands-on activities introduced in WEL210. Students will weld with the flux-cored arc welding process using semi-automatic machines in all positions with a variety of electrode wires, diameters, and gases. Submerged arc welding will be in the flat and horizontal position with semi-automatic torches using gravity or pressurized systems. The students will also receive instruction on machine applications.
