Basic Life Support for the EMT-Paramedic

Preparatory course covering cognitive, affective, and psychomotor objectives required of emergency medical technicians at the Basic level (EMT-B). Theory and practical application of basic life support skills required of advanced life support providers. Participation requirements: 64 clock hours (minimum) of clinical/field assignment. Pennsylvania Department of Health EMT-Basic Certification is required to register for this course. Successful completion required for admission to the Paramedic program. 2 Credits (0 Lecture - 6 Lab) Spring Only.
