Independent Study in Current Nursing Issues and Trends

Individualized study designed to provide the RN student an opportunity to investigate a current nursing related issue or trend. Under the direction of a nursing faculty member, the student contracts for learning experiences based upon collaboratively developed learning objectives. Learning goals and objectives for the course must be approved prior to commencement of the semester in which the independent study is undertaken. Admission to the BSN major or permission of the Director of Nursing is required to take this course. 1 Credit (1 Lecture - 0 Lab) Prerequisite(s): NUR310. Scheduled by Special Arrangement.
