Discussion-oriented introduction to select current nursing issues. Special consideration is given to topics of concern for students entering the nursing profession. Ethical, legal and cultural considerations; special practice issues; socialization into nursing; career planning; lifelong learning and caregiver concerns are highlighted. 2 Credits (2 Lecture - 0 Lab) Prerequisite(s): BIO125 and NUR181 and PSY203 or BIO125 and NUR117 and NUR223 and PSY203.
