Theory and application of business problem solution, using a hands-on, programmatic approach. Topics cover the logical and physical structures of programs and data, formal problem solving strategies, algorithmic development, data and file input and output, documentation and good programming style. The capabilities of several programming languages are presented with one being emphasized.
