Study providing the skills needed to assist attorneys in the public sector of law. Human relations, social security, unemployment, occupational safety, workman's compensation, minority and handicapped rights, and environmental protection are some of the topics covered. The role of the paralegal in dealing with the client and the local, state, and/or federal agencies involved is emphasized. 3 Credits (3 Lecture - 0 Lab) Prerequisite(s): LAS100 and LAS150. Spring Only.
