Development of competency in planning, adapting and facilitating a variety of play, structured outdoor activities, challenge games, and selected techniques intended to meet a diverse range of client needs in educational, human services, and health care settings. Exploration of the development, design, selection, application, and safety considerations when employing these techniques/activities. The writing proficiency requirement (WRSELC) for the BHS Degree must be fulfilled prior to scheduling for this course. Non-Human Services majors may take the course with permission of the instructor. 3 Credits (3 Lecture - 0 Lab) Prerequisite(s): HSR241 and WRSELC or HSR275 and WRSELC. As needed.
