Study and practical application of the processes involved in specialized events and party work. Topics covered include the use of specialized floral designs and decorative accessories such as swags, wreaths, glassware, ice sculptures, water features, accent plants, and permanent and live floral and non-floral accents. Study includes the use of computers and the Internet to track daily entries and sales, send wire orders, control inventory, and buy and sell in the worldwide market. 3 Credits (1 Lecture - 6 Lab) Prerequisite(s): CSC110 and HRT105 or CSC124 and HRT105.
