Health Information Management
This is a capstone course in the Health Information Technology program. The topics covered include health information department operations, current issues in health information and in healthcare delivery; the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics & Information Management Education (CAHIIM) professional practice standards; Code of Ethics for the health information professional; and a review of health records competencies to help prepare students for the national accreditation exam. 3 Credits (3 Lecture - 0 Lab)
