Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits
Study of personal tax-deferred retirement programs and the framework for calculating annual savings needed to reach income goals. Focus on qualified plan design, with an emphasis on the advantages and disadvantages of specific types of qualified plans for the owners of small to medium sized businesses. Topics include qualified plan design, retirement planning, deferred compensation, group life and health insurance, and other employee benefits. 3 Credits (3 Lecture) Prerequisite(s): FIN305 or FIN350.
